Comments Off on Alexa Chung reveals her Aussie secret to looking like a model while flying
BRITISH model, TV presenter and jetsetter Alexa Chung has given some tips about how to keep up appearances on aircraft.
When the 30-year-old feels the effects of frequent flying and a hectic schedule, she has an easy solution: apply some bright red lipstick.
Lucas Papaw Ointment is Chung’s secret to warding off the dry plane air. “It makes me feel glamorous and sort of put together when I come off a long flight,” she has told British Glamour magazine.
And to combat the dessicating aeroplane air, Chung slathers extra helpings of moisturiser on her “ultra-dry skin”.
She also revealed her fondness for an Australian product, saying: “When I fly, I cover my face with Lucas Papaw Ointment as plane air is so drying.”
Chung, famous for her messed-up hair and flawless complexion, also never goes without a slick of black liquid eyeliner.
“It’s my everyday look,” she says.
“I used to do the line with a gel liner and a brush – but then I discovered the felt-tip pen and it made it so much easier.”f

Comments Off on Celebs Love Lucas’ Papaw Ointment
The face of Burberry Body, Rosie Huntington, is renowned for her lips, and while she tends not to enhance her most standout feature with bold lipsticks and glosses, the one beauty buy she swears by is none other than Australian-made Lucas Papaw Ointment.
From the papaw tree carica papaya, it has been used for over a hundred years not only to soothe dry, chapped lips, but also aid in the relief of minor burns, sunburn and eczema. Rosie says she uses it “religiously, especially when travelling.”
The gorgeous model isn’t the only celeb who can’t live without it — Aussies Kate Waterhouse, Natalie Gruzlewski as well as Alexa Chung have all added it their beauty arsenal.

Comments Off on Amazing Uses for Lucas’ Papaw Ointment
Treat your Feet
You’ve probably read about the benefits of applying moisturiser nightly to your feet to keep them baby soft. Good old Lucas Papaw Ointment works just as well, even better actually if you rub some ointment into any rough, dry patches on your feet. Pop on some cotton socks, clock up your beauty sleep and voila! Deliciously soft tootsies.
Yup, just rub in some Lucas Papaw ointment onto your cuticles to keep them nourished and make them more manageable for your next mani. Rub it in after applying hand cream, or if you’re doing DIY, coat your cuticles in the stuff before pushing back your own cuticles.
Use sparingly in place of a serum. Rub Lucas Papaw Ointment in between your palms and pat onto your head to keep the frizzies at bay. Plus, you can smooth it over your head if you’re doing a sleek updo or ponytail.
Apply a bit of Lucas Papaw Ointment to a clean mascara wand and brush onto your brows to keep them groomed and in place. Easy!
Yes, seriously. Use a little on your cheekbones for a dewy sheen. Or apply to your eyelids for a sexy, glossy look. Dab over a matte lipstick to oomph up the finish. Apply them to your lashes after curling them for a natural lift and instant volume.
If you’ve run out of gloves, coat your hands in the stuff and apply your fake tan; the ointment will act like a barrier cream.
Using at at home hair dye? Spread a light layer of Lucas Papaw Ointment around your hairline. That way, if any hair dye gets onto your skin, it won’t stain and will easily rub off. – See more at: http://www.buylucaspapaw.com/newsarticles.html#sthash.AuNXXmaa.dpuf
